Is 2gb worth it?

I'm mostly wondering because I'm currently using a Lumina 435 as a temporary until my BLU Win HD LTE comes in, but it seems to spend a lot of time pausing and resuming applications and generally being a bit judderry. I had assumed that it was due to only 1GB of ram (as my butter smooth Z30 had 2GB), but the phone I'm replacing it with also only has 1GB of ram. SO am I missing something, or is Windows Mobile just normally like this?

Weird Windows Phone used to be known for good performance especially in low end hardware (512Mb and SOCs). The 435 has Snapdragon 200 dual core with the aforementioned 1GB memory.

Have you soft reset your device? To clear cache items.
