Promoting Windows devices through movies

Have you noticed that Microsoft is promoting Windows phones through popular movies lately?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), Vacation (2015), Focus (2015)... are some of the titles where I've seen popular actors using Lumia devices (Megan Fox, Will Smith...).

Nice move.

Yes they've been doing that for quite some years. Watched old session of Hawaii Five-O and they're using a WP7.. Also if you notice in latest Terminator movie, a Lumia 1520 is running Geniysis OS.. So don't worry we'll not be left behind when SkyNet/Geniysis is launched in 2017 .

On Fox's show The Following everyone used Surface tablets and Lumia Phones. I feel like I see windows phones on TV and movies often.
