Lumia 830 vs Lumia 640xl

Which should i recommend to Buy? At First i recommend my colleague to buy Lumia 640xl, (replacing his Lumia 640xl due to his accidentally put his phone with the clothes in washing machine) but suddenly I found out that there is one store sell Lumia 830 at the exact same price with Lumia 640xl.

Both great phones, just depends what he needs more.
830- elegant, better camera, smaller, better design.
XL- bigger screen, better battery life.
He needs just to choose what he lijes more. I would choose 830 for myself, smaller and better camera but still great battery life.

830 is a better choice as a whole as it has a better camera(PureView!) , better build quality and an option of wireless charging.
Although 640xl has a better battery, bigger screen and a better front camera (5mp vs 0.9mp) still as a package at the same rate 830 is a better device.

Price being the same and processing power + RAM being equal... 830 all the way. Superior camera (despite the MP) with DNG and Rich Capture, beautiful screen, Dolby headphone support/equalizer/surround sound audio capture, Qi charging, Hardware nav buttons...

Personally I LOVE the aesthetics of the 830. Feels great in the hand.

Get a 1520 you can find them on eBay , amazon and reseller sites like swappa and glyde for around $200. They will really appreciate the extra horsepower the 1520 provides especially as windows 10 moves out of beta in the next few months.

I second this but only if you truly need the extra power and can handle the size of the 1520.
All in all, the 640 XL is an excellent phone and better imo than the 830...aside from the camera.
