Previous phones:
HTC Touch Diamond - Windows 6.5 (still got this one in a drawer, works fine)
HTC Radar - Windows 7/7.5 (through my previous job - they owned it)
Nokia Lumia 1320 - Windows 8/(10 preview) (sold it)

Currently on week number 3 with my new Microsoft Lumia 950 and I'm loving it.

Lumia 710, 625, 530, 532, 930, 1020 and ATIV S.

The 1020 is still my favourite, despite being slightly slower, the camera is still incredible and working as a photographer its been a huge help.

620 - my first WP, got it February 2013. 220 euros from Vodafone Germany.
ATIV S - upgraded to this three months later for 254 euros. Sold the 620 on eBay.
520 - bought this in the US for $50 (AT&T). Cost nearly as much to unlock it.
730 - got tired of waiting for ATIV S ROM upgrades, needed dual-SIM phone (179 euros at MediaMarkt Germany)
530 - Impulse buy at Saturn, 59 euros. Gave to wife in hope she would develop interest for WP; hasn't happened yet, she uses for two less-used SIMs.
532 - Another impulse buy, this time at Aldi for 69 euros. Gave to daughter, who mostly plays games on it, but also has two SIMs.
640 DS LTE - Dropped my 730 and smashed the screen, needed another dual-SIM. 154 euros on Amazon.de. Superb value and a nice sidegrade, but would have bought something fancier if available, but found the Lumia 550 too expensive. Ended up getting the 730 repaired too. I have lots of SIMs.

My Windows mobile adventure started with the HTC Touch, followed by the HTC Touch Pro 2... Because of several HTC repair ****ups, I got to choose a new phone and then turned to the dark side with the HTC Desire Z on Android 2.3. Stayed on Android until end of 2014 when I returned with a Lumia 930. That one moved to my wife when my 950XL arrived

I have come from an Android in 2014 to Windows Phone. I was pissed off my phone would not update the OS and that I had to use strange methods like roms and such. Now I have an updated OS in my Lumia 630. It has come from WP 8.1, and it is still running WM10 after 2 years without no glitch so far. When i compare both I had a slow android phone almost like a brick in terms of updates.

So after a year with WP my wife switched also from android to WP with the fantastic Lumia 640. She did not even want WM10 and decided to wait on the oficial update because she also found WP8.1 very nice specially in comparison.

So far I have had experience with Lumia 630 and Lumia 640 and very pleased. Even with Windows Insider on Lumia 630 it has been a very smooth experience.

I am talking of course of my experience without any critics to other OS also I do not know the current state of Android to form an opinion. But Windows? I am very pleased so far. I did not switch phones yet because of its reliability even with 512MB Ram on L630 .

samsung omnia 7 - at the time it was one of the most premium looking phones i loved it.
HTC 8s - got it to test out WP8 before i commit and i liked the colors.
lumia 1020 - got it for the awesome camera , its my daily driver now running WM 10.
looking at 950 now but still not sure if its worth the price ( 747 USD ) where i live .

Lumia 800 (white). Meh. Still use it when I serve as a Vol. Firefighter.
Lumia 920 (red). Fantastic. Probably my favorite. Backup phone.
Lumia 1020 (yellow). Another great phone. Lived up to my expectations. Dropped it in the ocean. Still works, except it things it always has headphones plugged into it . Gave it away.

Bought a green Lumia 720 for an employee. He still uses it.)
Lumia 535 (blue). Stop-gap. Nothing great but it was cheap.
Lumia 830 (black). To replace my 1020 that fell in the ocean and to keep me over until the 950XL. Nice phone overall but mediocre camera.
Lumia 950XL (black). Current phone. Mozo leather-back helps its looks. Great camera, subpar OS. Still can't figure out why Microsoft ALWAYS removes some cool features while adding others. Why no tap-to-wake, Panorama lens, Super-sensitive screen?
