Was a proud owner of 920 for the last 3 years. Recently, 2 months ago, bought a second hand 1520 and enjoying it. Am in my late 40's, so sometimes, they younger guys around me say that such a big phone doesn't suit my personality. These are more for the younger generation and I should be carrying something more compact. Hmm, don't know what to do.

You use whatever phone you like and you dont worry about what they think lol

520 (to see what this phone thing was about)
920 (free from DVLUP)
1020 (and a refurbished replacement when it started acting funny)
640 (great phone, cheap, daily use - I bought a second one for parts when my screen cracked)

Nokia got me to Windows Phones. It was so sad to have Rogers Nokia X7 (Canada) skip the Nokia Belle update; but that was short-lived as Nokia unveiled their Windows Phones.

So my first phone was the Lumia 800. Two years later Windows Phone 8 started to have apps not available on Windows Phone 7.8, but I didn't have much budget so I switched to the Lumia 635.

I still have it today and Microsoft Canada just started the pre-orders for Lumia 650 and I might switch to it.

HTC Fuze
Cingular 8125
Cingular 8525
Samsung Focus
Lumia 900
Lumia 1020 (current)

Staying with 1020 running latest Windows 10 until there is a replacement Windows phone with a camera equal to or better than the 1020.

My first Windows Phone is 920, the phone that had me switched basically. My second phone was 930 and probably the best I've had. I also bought Lumia 540 as secondary phone but it got lost after just a month. I bought another one which is 640XL for my Windows Insider experiment, but I ended gifting it to my Aunt as she was very impressed by its camera. Now I have 950XL for my Windows Insider experiment and the 930 as my daily driver.

I kinda get that. My dad wants the smallest phone possible. It kind of baffles me though because his eyesight isn't great so I'd expect he'd want something that can display larger font.

But yeah, you do you, man. If you like the 1520, go with it hey. It's a lovely phone. Using my mum's 1520 now and then convinced me that a larger phone can be pretty nice, which lead to me getting the 950 XL instead of the 950.
