As per this advice: http://forums.windowscentral.com/ask-question/292973-who-should-post-ask-question-forum.html WC members are free to post in all areas of the board. Please use Ask a Question only for time critical help issues that affect the immediate functionality of your device.

Some people use a shipping service from the US that will forward your parcel to you. I do not know of one that would work for India or what it might cost. Hopefully someone will add that info.

The device would be locked to AT&T. When the phone arrives make sure there is NO SIM in it before powering it on. That is a key element. A phone that has not attempted to activate should unlock for you within 3 business by using the ATT unlock portal. select "non ATT mobility customer" from the options after accepting the eligibility requirements. https://forums.windowscentral.com/e...tt.com%2Fdeviceunlock%2F%23%2F&token=BU3qaHjX
