So what exactly is so about this other than I guess being able to flash un-carrier romps on a device easier?

I saw someone loaded Windows RT onto a 520... so does this hack make room for Android apps hacked onto Windows Phones a possibility? Or even the whole android OS running on something like an 830? or maybe running full windows on a 1520 or 950XL and using full desktop apps. (but I guess only 32bit ones)

I'm excited but have no idea what I am excited about :D :)

A nice quote from Heathcliff's FAQ:

Can we run Android on Lumia now?

Why people ask this is beyond me. If you want Android, buy an Android phone. If you still want it, it will be a big challenge. You can remove UEFI, EFIESP, MainOS and Data partitions and then add hboot and other Android partitions. But then you would still need Android drivers for the Lumia components.
Also the possibilities are probably more freedom to tweak and mod Windows 10 Mobile, but I'm going to go ahead and shoot down all of those possibilities, sorry.

There's no Android sub system to activate to stick in there, so without serious work, no Android apps.

See above for sticking Android on the phone.

being able to run full desktop Windows is 102% a hardware limitation, 32 bit or not.

However maybe we can get different tile counts, themes, adjusting system stuff like the registry...
