Most people like to setup phone before moving their Sim card. However on the new handsets it just does not allow to progress without Sim as I previously had a micro Sim. This is annoying. I was tempted to return. Til I showed patience and got a Nano Sim. But I feel average user will get fed up and return the phone. Anyone's else had this issue?

That is in place to correctly provision your phone for your mobile network. Some users have run into issues when they just simply powered on the phone, went through the set up without a SIM installed.

However if a customer buys an iPhone they'll let that slide usually due to apps etc, but Windows doesn't get the same treatment. A part of me feels if a consumer tries Windows phone they most likely actively go out of their way to find things wrong with it so they can return it.
