Logging into tsb.co.uk on my desktop I am greeted with this message:

The way you bank with us on your mobile is changing
It?s always handy to know what?s just around the corner.
Which is why we wanted to bring you important news about the Mobile Banking app for Windows.
From early 2017 it will no longer be available. But don?t worry.
What you need to know
You can still use your mobile to access your TSB accounts and do all the things you do now. Like viewing balances, making payments and transferring money.
What to do next
Instead of using the app, simply open your phone?s web browser and visit our Internet Banking site.
Then log in just as you would on your computer, using your current user ID, password and memorable information.
Our site?s totally mobile friendly. So why not give it a go?

But if the site is mobile friendly then surely it isn't a big loss?
One could pin the site to the start screen and use (like an app).
I think sometimes that there are apps for the sake of having apps.
Just my opinion though.

My bank never had a windows mobile app. However they have a mobile friendly web page that works flawlessly. I activated notifications by email and pinned page to start screen. That solution works fine for me.
