Which Facebook App?

I'm running W10M on my 1520 and I'm using the old Microsoft FB app. Who has used both the Microsoft FB app and the Facebook official app and which one do you like better?

When you download the official FB app, the Microsoft app stops working. Despite it lacking in certain aspects, the official app is still much better than the MSFT.

I gave up on the official app long time ago. It was unusable on my 830 (freezes!!) and just poor ok my 1520...
I tried ok just accessing FB purely on Edge for several month. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it doesn't freeze or crash. I also did use Web Titles to pin FB to the start screen...
But lately, I moved on to Slim Social for FB. It's basically a wrapper but does have a black theme. Works well, for lite FB users...

Yeah Slim Social is a really good alternative, though it's just a web wrapper and may be missing some features like notifications.
It's stable and does not crash for browsing.

The Windows Store has always thrived with 3rd party alternatives so this is a very welcome development.
