I don't know why but I hate Microsoft mobile calendar app. It find navigating between months and selecting a date whether to view an event/appointment - or to enter an event such a pain.

Just the way the top calendar part works together with the bottom list of events/appointments is pretty horrific. It doesn't even work properly. For example if you open it up and select a day in the next month but it tries to stay on the current month. Sometimes you tap on a day in a greyed out month and it won't let you select it.

I don't have that problem at all.
What device and OS version are you on?

It is probably the worst calendar app I've used. Not sure what they were smoking when they designed it. My most irritating issue is that I can't search calendar.

I've sent numerous feedback items

Can't change calendar on existing appointments.

Can't forward calendar items.

Need to hit the three dots to get more items.

I don't hate it, but I don't use it.
Hehehe...
The week view isn't bad (especially, now that they have the week starting on Sunday - it used to start on Monday).
I do hate that the month view doesn't show details of each day.
It's so iOS.

Personally, I use True Calendar 8.
It's one of few calendar apps that gives you a full-screen month view that actually shows you entries for each day.
Plus, it has a nice live tile.

I actually really like the calendar but I use it pretty exclusively in week view unless I'm trying to find a specific event or date in the past or future. What I don't like though is that on the live tile it only shows the first even listed, so if there are multiple events for a day it only shows the first, even when you input start and stop times.
I do have to say though, the actual inputting of events is kind of a hassle, I don't like that the default is to have a reminder alarm, so there have been times when I forget to select that I don't need one that it goes off in the middle of a meeting for something completely unrelated.

I only use it for the WEEK view and the date display on the Start screen, use One Calendar for everything else.

I use Chronis Calendar. Lots of features and very popular.
Chronis Calendar just got another update to the Mobile App. I wish I could buy the app again to show my support. "Support what you like, or be part of the problem."

I got some serious problems synchronizing.
We use Kerio as our mailclient (competitor of Exchange).
Agenda items from Outlook and webmail sync correctly to the w10m Agenda app.
But when you create an item on your phone, the items won't sync back to outlook/webmail.

But when you delete an agenda item on you phone that was inserted through webmail/outlook, then the phone does delete the agendaitem on outlook/webmail.

So a real flaw that is holding up over a few months now.

The windows phone 8 phones do sync correct. So it's really an error in w10m agenda.
Very frustrating problem for our company.
