8.1 really since Lumia Camera is there, along with the fact that it probably runs better on that over Windows 10 Mobile. Depends what apps you plan to use as well though.

Well... Support for 8.1 is fading fast.

W10M was never meant for the 1020 or, rather, the 1020 was never meant for W10M.

Best answer (IMHO), time to let go of the 1020 as a daily driver phone and keep it as a camera only or move on entirely. It is over 4 years old at this point.

yes im using it as my daily driver. the main reason for most of the users who keep lumia1020 is the camera. same here.. thanx a lot
