Surface to be sold at Wal-Mart

I was in the Scottsdale Wal-Mart to pick up a couple things for my office and was surprised to see that they had set up a Surface display in the computer department. There were no tablets yet, just a rather nice display case (more impressive looking than the Staples end cap). It was actually rather amusing because it was the former Android tablet space but those had been pulled out and shoved into a tiny corner at the end of the counter. Really just a FYI to anyone in a location with no other vendors but a ubiquitous Wal-Mart in town.

I was reading an article last week about how they were going to increase vendor for Surface. They mentioned CDW and PC Connection but this is the first I've heard about Walmart. Good deal, you can't get much more walk by exposure than Walmart.
