I've run into a dilemma while trying to decide on a laptop to purchase. I'm stuck between the Lenovo Yoga 710 and the HP Spectre x360. Both 15" versions. Both with Core i7-7500, 16gb RAM, 512gb SSD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 940MX, 4K screens (although given a choice, I'd drop the screen down to 1080p in favor of longer battery life), and both feel roughly the same weight to me. They seem to be nearly identical from a pure specs point-of-view. I'm not sure which to press for. I favor the Spectre for it's aluminum build and great looks plus it comes with a 'pen.' But I've seen the Lenovo going for the same as the Spectre online through the Lenovo website but for $400 cheaper at Best Buy. I'm just not sure which to edge towards. Does the HP hold-up better than the Lenovo over time? I've read that the HP paint chips easily which is a bit of concern but definitely not a deal breaker for me.
