On 1703 - 15063.0 after a bumpy ride on the fast ring on my daily laptop. Now 'resting' in slow, via a few days of 'leave me alone'/release preview...
Getting better and better...

I am using windows 10 across the board ... on my 8" tablet, on my desktop w/4k monitor, on my 11" dell laptop, and on my media PC.

On my laptop, tablet, and media PC i run it in tablet mode.

Windows 10 Home current production builds on my Surface 3 and my fiancé's Asus laptop. Windows 7 on an older Gateway all-in-one. Tried numerous times to update it to 10, but no updated driver support for it caused the update install to fail every time so I left it on 7. Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update current production build on my Alcatel Idol 4S and fiancé's Lumia 640XL.

Sent from mTalk on my Alcatel Idol 4S for Windows

Simple question: Which version of Windows are you running on your laptop or PC, and why? Anyone still have an old setup rocking Windows 95 or similar? lol

Windows 10 latest Pre-Production build on 3 laptops, 1 desktop, 1 Surface, 1 Samsung ATIV and Lumia 950.

Best Windows OS to date. Love the interconnectivity.

ATIV S Windows 8 Mobile

Lumia 650 Windows 10 Mobile Fast Ring
Lumia 950 XL Windows 10 Mobile Preview Release
Surface RT ;)
Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Windows 10 Creator's
Nuvision Tablet Windows 10

wait wait...forgot: i'm also running an old Dell Vostro 1500. This was my very first laptop. It's literally 10 years old. Indestructible! Built solid like a tank! My students have knocked this over and dropped it, and it just keeps on going. Best keyboard ever! I've upgraded the RAM and Hard Drive. It came with xp, then Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and now 10. Amazing....

also: my first computer back in 1984 was an ATARI 1040 STE. Used it for recording music (it had MIDI ports). No hard drive; had to load in the programs every time you'd turn it on. Save everything to old floppy disk. My Seanix computer in 1995 came with Windows 3.1 (I think); I remember going out and buying the new Windows 95 disk:) 'Start Me Up' by the Rolling Stones was the music for the tv ad:)

Running Windows 10 on all my devices. I got 1 laptop on fast ring, and the other two are not. My 950xl is on fast ring as well, and my Lumia 830 is on preview. Hard core Windows fan here lol.

Ah - this is my favorite question! I've got several...

1999 IBM Aptiva PIII, 256MB - Running Windows 98SE. I use it to run old games on original hardware and telnet to a few BBSes.... Whoa!

2004 IBM ThinkPad T43 Pentium M, 2GB - Running Windows XP

2005 Gateway FX510X Core2Duo, 8GB - Running Windows 7, media center PC and home server

2006 Sony Vaio SZ330P Core2Duo, 2GB - Running Windows XP, battery barely holds a charge anymore

2016 Surface Pro 4 - i7 16GB - Running Windows 10

2017 Alienware Aurora R6 - i7 32GB - Running Windows 10

Good stuff! Love MS's OSes. It can be really fun to revisit some of the older ones. XP especially is a beautiful OS. Best to all!

Windows 10 Insider programme since the beginning. However, Windows 10 is still slower on my admittedly aging hardware (7 year old Core i7 2.7GHz, 12GB RAM, 1.2TB HD) than Win 8, which was super slick and smooth - something I could never say about Win 10 on this setup, which I'd describe as ok but a bit glitchy.

Windows 10 Mobile (non-insider) on Lumia 930. Again, not as smooth as Windows Phone 8, rather flaky with me having to restart every now and again as various features stop working, like certain notifications, or haptic feedback.

Windows 8.1 RT on Surface 2 which is pretty stable.
