Well, last night after the incompetence of a T-Mobile store employee destroyed my Lumia 925's sim slot I put my replacement sim into an LG G6.
I installed launcher 10, paid to remove the ads and turn on live tiles, and configured it to look like the UI on my Acer Windows tablet.
This is actually a reasonable path forward for someone who wants to get a handset with more apps but maintain the familiar UI of Windows phone.
Why Microsoft doesn't just buy Launcher 10 and develop it I don't know.
