Xbox music windows 8 volume issue

Does anyone know why when using Xbox music on windows 8 after minimizing the app the volume gets low and when I go back into Xbox music the volume raises again?

I experience this same thing. It seems to be an intermittent thing but I have no idea why it's happening but it's incredibly irritating when it does happen.

Anyone else have this problem and found a solution for it? I am getting that issue now.

Edit: Found the same issue in the Microsoft help questions that was posted last October. Their solution was to restart, which fixed it for me.
