Does GDR2/Amber fix the Xbox Music Situation?

Hello guys!!

For those fortunate enough to have a updated their WP8 to GDR2/Amber, does it fix the annoying file duplication etc. problems of Xbox Music.

I am asking because I'll be getting a new Lumia soon. And I'd really like to have a functional portable music player.

I am not sure what problems exactly you mean because there were tons!

It fixes the lag to start with - my Xbox music doesn't lag at all whatever I do.

There are no added features like downloading all songs by doing "select all" or managing music in an easier way - all that hasn't changed.

It only feels more stable and reliable. If you want more fix as in features - you won't have any!

What about the small skip about 10 seconds before the end of each song when you're streaming Xbox Music?

Just installed the GDR2/Amber to my Verizon 822, no changes to Xbox music, it is still duplicating songs.
Does anyone know of any fixes for this?

Disable syncing with SkyDrive....if that's ok with you.

Is there any other app in these phones -- besides XBox Music -- that can play MP3s? Can Nokia Music do it? Is there anything else?
