Sorry folks, been very busy at work with the run up to Xmas and tired when I get home.

My only downloads in the last couple of weeks have been effectively the "Complete album works of Bjork"

So my last five have been.

Volta

Medulla

Homogenic

Vespertine

All by Bjork, the other two are her first ones of Debut and Post.

Really enjoying Debut and Vespertine, haven't had time to listen to the others more than once yet.

I cannot find Pink Floyd - The Endless River...

I never heard of that one. Is it their last album? I'm familiar with their older classic albums. I'm also in the US, so it's possible that album was never released here.

Yes, I just found it a few minutes ago. But I did post my latest 5 downloaded albums. 2-4 were ones I found using 'discovery'.

The Endless River is the last Pink Floyd album, mostly instrumental and largely comprised of unreleased tracks from the Division Bell recording session. Last time I checked, it still wasn't available to download on Xbox music in the US.

PS - Love that Decemberists CD on your list. One of my favorites.

My last five are "Valentine" and "Lifemask" by Roy Harper (Him of "Hats off to Roy Harper" fame by Led Zeppelin), "Stranger to Stranger" by Paul Simon, then "On the Shore" and "The Garden of Jane Delawney" by Trees.

Roy Harper is a fantastic singer song writer and often forgotten, try "Stormcock" as an introduction to his music, don't be surprised by his list of friends who often work with him like Jimmy Page, David Gilmore, Kate Bush to name drop a few.

The Paul Simon album is well worth a shot.

Trees are an English folk rock band in the mode of Fairport Convention but very much slated in Groove's review, I think unfairly.
