    Have a 950xl and Surface Pro 4. Love most things about them but Groove is pretty terrible. If I add to my collection on one device or on the web browser, the chances of it appearing on other devices seem either non existent or can take days to appear after numerous restarts. Spent three hours on MS help chat last night and got no further apart from losing both devices as recognised devices? Any clues/help or is it just Groove itself? Thanks everyone.

    Do you subscribe to Groove or are you only using OneDrive?

    Have you tried copying a few files to the Surface's hard drive or to OneDrive if you have an account? See if that stuff syncs?

    Intend to. Just surprised that adding a collection to a device doesn't result in it popping up in other Groove apps as it does in Spotify. Added something ion Web Player colection four hours ago, still no sign on phone!

    Except the SD cards are unique to each device so how will the other devices "see" them? If you're adding music from Groove to your collection and it's not syncing, or to OneDrive, then there's a problem. But if you're not seeing music on one device that's only stored on a local drive on another, unless I'm missing something, then I don't think there's really a problem. In Groove settings, check "Choose where we look for music". Any location other than OneDrive unique to the device means music will only appear on that device.

    Understand the reasoning and that crossed my mind however things do pop up but after an odd period of time or not at all. S o the functionality seems to be there, just not predictable or usable.

    I hear ya, it's taken me some time to dial in Groove. The last couple updates have significantly improved syncing time, even with Xbox music on my 8.1 phone. If all else fails, try starting over with a new local user profile on the Surface and copy your music to OneDrive before even opening Groove.

    Groove is working/syncing great for me across 5 devices: Work PC (Win10), Home laptop (Win10), Xbox One, primary phone (Lumia Icon with 8.1), and a backup phone (Lumia 635 with Win10, latest Insider Release build).

    OMC71 -- Did you get a resolution?? Has it synced??? If so, can you tell me how you did it because its driving me mad!

    I've got a few albums to transfer over onto my phone, but not many... I have an SD card of 64

    Try copying your laptop music to OneDrive.

    No. No solution unfortunately. Occasionally syncs between web and phone but having no success with Surface Pro 4. Am asking for a refund as the service doesn't work and there are no answers from MS

    Moved all my music to One Drive and unfortunately that didn't resolve the issue. I'm wondering if it's a win10 mobile problem
