Music on OneDrive: separate space?

When you put your music on Google Music, the space is monitored differently. You can add up to 50 000 songs and it doesn't affect your 15 GB of storage on Google Drive.

Is that the case with Groove Music?

Also I've seen you can obtain 100 GB of storage with the 30 days trial of Music Pass. If you cancel that, do you keep the 100 GB of storage for your music?
