USB drives will show up in the File Explorer app, you can even connect multiple with any normal USB hub. Mice and keyboards seem to work too. If you really want to, you can use a mouse on the phone's screen, the cursor does show up there. Could be useful for web browsing, on sites with small text links.

This may be a bit of a random question but would you be willing to post the hardware revision and firmware revision? Just curious.

    Hi Zac,

I have a Lumia 930 and it becomes hot as hell for even a minimal usage. Since X3 is a metal bodied device too, how's the heat distribution when you're running 5-6 apps simultaneously?

Can you please tell me the battery drain rate?
The x3 is not metal, instead it's plastic. So no, heat has not yet become an issue.

Battery is lasting a day easily with heavy usage, don't have any more specific numbers on that just yet but stay tuned :)

Comparing the elite x3 to the Lumia 1520. Would you say that the camera of the 1520 is better, same, worse? How about the display and display brightness (Clear Black) etc?

My time machine isn't working today so not sure. I would hope not, but there's always that possibility.

1520 has a better camera, as will most high-end Lumia's over the Elite x3.

Display on the x3 is excellent, it's crisp and clear and is an AMOLED screen (So yes, Clear Black). Brightness is great indoors, and "okay" outside. I can see the screen when outside, but it's nothing like the technology found in the Lumia's.

Elite x3 and 950 Iris Scanner seem on par, maybe the x3 is a tiny bit faster but nothing notable.

Don't have an iPhone/OnePlus on me to compare with.

The speakers are forward facing, which is excellent. What that means is the sound is blasted directly at your face rather than away from you, which means sound is a lot clearer. Unfortunately, I can't say these are the best speakers I've ever heard on a phone. They get loud, real loud, but at full blast I can hear a slight rattle when high pitched noises are playing.

At more sensible levels however, audio sounds good. In short, not the best, not the worst.
Are they dual facing speakers or simply one front facing?

Sound quality is good. Brightness is okay in daylight, nothing like the Lumia line, but better than most other handsets.

1)Fast Ring Insider eligible? 2) Qi chargerable? 3) How heavy? I was thinking of using a magnetic car mount. 4) The X3 looks noticably faster and more fluid than my 950 XL, but does it feel that way? 5) Any issues on website or email rendering? That still drives me crazy on my current device. And 6) Any cases or accessories available yet, and if not, when?

    Thanks. Lucky!

Does it get as warm as a 950XL can get with decent usage, esp over LTE?

Right now, no. The Elite x3 works only with its specific Desk Dock, and doesn't come with a USB-C to USB-C cable.
I've successfully used my Elite X3 at work using Continuum with my 950XL desk dock & usb-c cable.

One question I have is just generally: Stylus? I've seen a lot of pics with one. I guess the first question is, is it still going to be a thing? If yes, then have you used it yet? If yes, then how is it?

    Thanks!

    1) It isn't supported by WDRT as of yet so I would not risk Insider.
    2) Qi and PMA built in
    3) 0.43lb (195g) - you would need to stick on the mount as the body is plastic
    4) don't have either to compare
    5) see #4
    6) HP is releasing a whole slew of accessories. Stylus/cases (multiple)/screen protector in tempered glass and anti glare plastic. Check here: http://forums.windowscentral.com/hp-...-features.html
