Can I conect the HP Elite Lap Dock to my home computer instead of the phone?

Are you asking if you could turn your lap dock into a monitor for your home computer? If you are, yes. If you are talking about remotely, you then need to use Remote Desktop. I am not sure how this works exactly.

As for items on your home computer, if you use one drive, and office 365 for office. You can have your files in sync. It's how I can jump from any computer I have because all my files are the same. Including on my HP x3
