I ran three of them for you. I have no idea what it means, so please let me know what you think. :)

Yeah, the WordFlow keyboard (MS's name for their Swype-like gesture keyboard) and predictive text completion in WP8.1 Update 1 are really excellent, and it seems silly that MS hasn't incorporated it into the main Windows yet. I know all roads point to Windows 10, but the tech world is impatient. :)

Why 8" or less? I have an 11.6" tablet and I would get a ton of use out of a WordFlow keyboard. For tablets, the larger the screen, the more cumbersome on-screen keyboards are, and swiping would ease the pain.

I agree with you. I'd love WordFlow on any sized touch screen device. I guess after using it on my 1520 for so long, I've become accustomed to using it with one hand (my right thumb, mainly) on smaller devices. While I can hold the HP Stream 7 with one hand, using WordFlow on it is obviously about as far as I can go using only one hand (thumb) to type. My thoughts were stuck in 7 to 8" territory when I made the comment above because, lately, the only things I've been using are my Stream 7 and 1520.

In case anyone wandering, educational discounts are not available on these. Also just to point out to OP, the battery status works anywhere if you swipe from the right edge. It shows in lower left corner. Also the Chrome implemented touch to start keyboard on the desktop side of OS. Strange nobody else did.

Just confirmed on my HP Stream 7 that it DID support 64GB SDXC Card!
I plop in my SP2 SDXC 64GB in there and it works, tried to play music and videos from it, totally works.
I don't know why HP only advertise as if the Stream 7 is an 32GB expandable only device (implying it's SDHC).

Makes me regret for buying 32GB SDHC for it.
Should have gone with 128GB for my SP2 and inherit the 64GB for the Stream7.

Also if anyone wondering. Miracast works wonder with this device.
Stream musics and video playback nicely (I can only cast up to 1280x768)
Not the device native resolution of 1280x800, although if you want to stream movie,
setting the res down to 1280x720 is a much better option, so the above issue is not really a problem.

I'm ordering OTG USB cable and will arrive sometime this week, I'll let you guys know how that works.
So far the tablet is freakin wonderful and I can't believe that I can get 16 of these tablet vs 1 SP2 when it was launched lOl

Just bought my HP Stream 7 with case from the Microsoft Store. Read some reviews that said to get the Signature Edition as it won't have all the bloat ware added by HP so it'll run quicker. I think Microsoft is the only place that sells this version at the moment. Anyways, eagerly awaiting it's arrival and even though I have a spare 32gb micro card handy, I may pick up a 64gb card today.

Anyone know if you can move apps to the card to run from there?
