I've had some trouble with the tablet occasionally bringing up the shutdown screen when I click the lock/power button. Restarting the tablet, sometimes a couple times, seems to fix it. Has anyone else had this issue?

Do you have the latest drivers for your device? You may download drivers here.

Thanks for pointing that out! I'll look into that. Fortunately it doesn't occur often and isn't too big a deal, mostly odd.

Hope this resolved for you, but I wanted to share that it happened on mine too. I did a Windows Update and restarted and it hasn't occurred again.

Mine has started doing this. I've started just shutting it down since it shuts down/boots up really quickly, but I'd prefer if it went to sleep instead like it used to.

Also, since I regularly shut it down now, I'm pretty much installing all the automagically downloaded updates, so in theory that should've fixed it. Alas, that hasn't been the case.

I've found a couple of reasons why it does that.

1) There's and update that needs the computer to do a hard restart. Do a hard restart and it will go away. If your tablet restarts and pops back up quickly it wasn't a hard restart. It should take a minute or so to start.

2) You can also look in the Realtech drivers and make sure "wake on pattern match" is enabled.

Mine did that for a while. I think it is related to how it syncs settings across devices(This is assuming you have a Windows 8.1 laptop or other device). I've turned off some of the options under the Settings>Change PC settings>OneDrive>Sync Settings. I have serveral turned off (for other reasons) but I believe the one is question is the "Other Windows Settings". May have to play around with it if it still occurs.

Well, in true Windows fashion, my Stream has healed itself. Now I tap on the power button and it goes to sleep. And no, I don't remember any Windows updates. Things that make you go "hmmmmmmm....."
