Alternative Browsers

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has tested any browsers besides Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox on this device. I know these are all full-featured, heavy resource browsers and I was hoping there might be a lightweight alternative that is at least mostly compatible with the most modern web content. Thanks!

Since the Stream 7 is a full PC, most any other browser should work. (Opera, Maxthon... the question is, how well they will work.)

I would recommend sticking with modern IE.

Another browser you could try is Vivaldi. That's really new and still a work in progress, but it's made by developers who used to work for Opera.

Well there's Lunascape, Maxthon (personal favorite), Vivaldi, Tor browser, UC Browser for PC (neat skins, still in beta and WP bookmarks from UC browser don't sync yet)

Seconded, the UC Browser 5.0 for desktop beta is really good.

Wouldn't bother with the modern one though.

There's a 5.0 update? My PC version never updated past 4.0.4985 o.o ill have to investigate that.

Tried it, bookmarks from WP still don't sync over. So 5.0 is still terribly broken so I can't personally use it yet. Its cool looking though~
