I want to roll back to 8.1 on my hp stream 7

​So...

I updated to windows 10 on my HP stream 7 foolishly thinking I'd be able to roll back to 8.1 without a factory image because I had an extra copy of windows 8.1 32 bit lying around with a free license to use. After much agony I've come to the conclusion that only two options I have is.
A. get a factory image from one of you good people.
or
B. Pay HP 40 for the recovery tool. (not an option for a 79$ tablet not sure what they are thinking)

anyway if anyone has a factory image of the HP stream 7 that they made I could really use it.
Ill even make the deal sweeter by offering the 32 bit 8.1 license i got.

I have a somewhat similar issue. I did create a recovery disk on USB but I can't get the dang thing to boot with this USB drive. Tried changing the boot order to boot from USB and USB/dvd drives before the internal hard drive. No luck. Tried to launch recovery mode from windows 10 by booting from USB EFI. Has anyone had success with this?
