So I've had it with the edge browser on windows 10 on my stream 7.

I really liked the metro browser, too bad windows 10 doesn't have it.

Edge is too slow, too many times it temporarily locks up, drop down bars rarely work right, sometimes the keyboard doesn't close, sometimes it doesn't open, the layout is terrible, I could on and on.

Metro IE was superior in every way I use a tablet.

Bad news is that why I was using windows 10, it said memory was low, do I want to delete windows 8, I stupidly clicked yes.

So what are my options to get windows 8 back?
Thanks,
Joe

First, very important question: do you know your Windows 8.1 product's key? If yes you can perform formatting and clean install of Windows 8.1. To do this you need:
- pendrive
- OTG cable
- USB Keyboard
- USB Hub.
Also you need disk image (ISO) with Windows 8.1. You can use Media Creation Tool to make ISO file, here you can read more: windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

Thanks for the replies,
I DID delete the original windows.
And I don't know my original key code, don't see the box around either (if that's where you find it).
At $100 I probably figured if I didn't like it, I would just give it away.

The choice to delete the old OS when I was prompted was a poor decision on my part.

Is there some way to find my old key code?
