How to scroll through multiple windows?

By accident I shrunk my active window and could scroll through facebook, the app store and so on..how does one do that anytime he or she wants?

It was like scrolling through multiple browser windows on an Iphone but I have no idea how I was able to do it..

It sounds like you activated multitasking.

Hold the back button to activate multitasking. It will show your last five opened apps. Once you open a sixth app the oldest app will be removed from the list. The only way to truly close the app is to resume the app and hit the back button until you exit it. However, apps list in the multitasking window are actually suspended and should not have a major affect on your battery life. You can either leave them suspended on manually close them. Some people prefer closing them, others don't.

Thanks for the information folks..I think it's a neat idea to have them open and I will have to learn how to close them in the future if it saves battery life in that case..
