MP3 problem

I love my W8 phone but am getting a bit frustrated with trying to load MP3s............ some play ok but others dont and I dont know why........anyone have any thoughts please ?

What error messages are you getting for the ones that don't play? Also, where are you getting these MP3's and how are you transferring them to the phone?

transferred by the windows syncing to PC - have had couple of different messages -- c00d36C4 & an 8000400(3 ?)............

The MP3s were put onto my laptop either direct from disc or from another pc (downloaded by disc) onto to memory stick......
