No memory in "Apps"

Some time ago I noticed an anomaly in my storage: whenever I install an app it goes to "Other" storage, instead of "Apps." All the other sections are empty because I put them on my SD card but the apps? Surely, it wasn't like thins when I got the phone (mid December); it occurred around 1-2 months ago. I personally can't see any changes/problems due to this. Is it something that harms in a way, and what should I do if so? Thank you.

So. After filling my 8S with other storage (around 500MB) I couldn't do almost anything (it needs space to perform actions) I factory reseted it. Also I had every one of my 800 songs around 11 times and needed literally 5 minutes to play a song . I copied all of my songs (physical files = 800 not 800*11) and photos to my PC and formated the phone and the SD card. Then I putted back everything, and I have 600 MB free storage with songs 1:1 and everything is perfect!

Windows (Phone) - format it: it should fix the problem.
