8S finally receiving the 8.1.1

Not possible. The 8S does not have the Settings>System>Touch option.

Still nothing official from HTC. The update is only available to those who are enrolled in the preview program. You can do that also, it's free

I still have a few questions.Where i can find a tutorial,how to install 8.1 DP for my 8S?Does all the things will work propely?And what kind of problems or risks i need to deal with,if i am installing DP?

There are no risks at all. It's simple just like the official updates but just pushed by MS. Your phone might be a bit laggy but overall it'll be still usable. No problem for a casual use, social networks, messaging, calls. Even gaming is quite good.

Are you on 8.1 or 8.1 Update 1?
Check under about in settings.

I am helpless and would be glad, if anybody could help:

I am on version 8.10.12400.899 and I am told, there is an update. But the update would need 690,90 MB of free memory. But on the phone storage there are only 307,39 MB of free memory, and only about 360 MB are used by Apps, Emails etc.; the rest is used by system. So even if I delete everything I can delete, I can't get enough free memory - so why and how have you been able, to install any update further than 8.10.12400?

Remove email accounts, downloaded files, downloaded maps. Remove temporary files. If still not enough, reset the phone and update.
