My windows phone has gone to gsm mode. what can I do tomget it back to normal?

HTC 8s windows phone. Sim error changed to GSM mode. O2sim. Phone won't work properly now. Can anyone help me and tell me how to fix this.

have you tried removing the sim and putting it back?
