Nice phone. Smaller battery capacity than expected, and specs are not matching/beating Lumia 920 for this to be the "flagship".

Well... Joe Belfiore said on twitter that he was using his HTC 8X on Verizon, but it'll be available on Verizon, AT&T or T-mobile. Still no Sprint love.

Thanks Duvi. Looking excitedly for the specs on the 8S to see if it is a nice small screen option for those that want it. One of the little things I look for is the WI-FI signals. Like to know I can get all available bands, and this is the first WP 8 device listing with those listed. Thanks again, top Dawg!!!

HTC fans are happy. Not sure if it sways anyone who isn't a HTC loyalist, but they are good looking devices.

Specs are mid-range, not high-end. No unique features that are really strong selling points versus Nokia or Samsung. And styling is derivative (8X = Lumia 900, 8S = Sony Xperia). I feel like Nokia and Samsung are in a gunfight for best WP8 phone and HTC just showed up with a knife.

Smaller battery and lack of MicroSD is kinda sad. Still, since I'm on Verizon it's a race between that, the Ativ and the 920 to get my money.. First one that is available I'm getting.... and if no 920 then it's a two horse race.

The form factor is pretty darn cool. It will be interesting to see how it feels in the hand. And, well, they've got blue!!!

Although no micro SB, and only 16gb. Oh well, still looks cool.

Just watch the designer video for this phone and noticed a grass green phone design (on paper on the table) ahh...my dream of an incredible hulk inspired phone may come true :)

I wasn't too fond of HTC after my experience with the HD7 and was leaning towards a Nokia or Samsung device for WP8, but now I have to say the 8X is looking like it might be my next phone.

That's what I was thinking too. It doesn't make sense to leave out expandable memory on their flagship device, but put it on the low end one.

edit: The sim tray looks be big enough to carry a micro SD card as well.

What's Nokia got way over the X? Same processor power, cameras to be decided(I don't trust Nokia after the 900 incident). All Nokia has is a bigger screen and a bit more memory. Samsungs only edge is a huge screen but sammys design sux.

Also noticed around the 30 second mark, they show the code-name 'Accord' on the chalkboard.

After watching the video, even though I swore off HTC for the 4th time, I'm still tempted.
