Haven't read anything anywhere, so sorry if this is a repost.
I was in T-Mobile earlier to inquire about Family Plan pricing, and a rep showed me her screen, which displayed a receive date of 11/14 for the 8X but the pricing was blank. I know to take **** like this with a grain of salt, but just figured somebody else would find this date useful.
.. so FYI for any of my fellow AT&T brothers who want to save some money, don't care about LTE, and are tired of getting treated like subhumans for being on a grandfathered unlimited plans.
PS - Apparently they're offering one of two free upgrades for their top-tier data service, either free tethering or they don't throttle you after 5GB. I'm not sure what the deal is here, but it sounds good to me.
