8x just restarts for no reason

So ive been noticing that my phone would do this atleast 7 to 10 times a week. Where I would be using my phone for normal day uses, or even just sitting there idle. I would feel/hear a vibration then the phone just shuts off and turns back on. I did notice that I do lose some of my recent texts/calls prior to the phone restarting itself. BTW I have my HTC 8x through T-Mobile. Ive already had this phone replaced once with a brand new unit, but Im sure if I call it in theyll just send me a refurb. Any idears?

Did you get any sort of update? If not, then you'll just have to deal with it. Very common issue.

If you haven't already I would recommend installing the portico update. You can do this by going to settings then to phone update. The portico update has significantly reduced the occurrence of this issue.

Ive actually had all of the updates even the most recent skype update.

So this is just something Id have to put up with until an update would fix this. If theres even one in the making.

I would first start by uninstalling HTC hub.

If not, start uninstalling apps around when your restarts occurred.
