facebook chat, sending pictures

You can send attachments such as private photos through facebook chat on the computer, and I can do it no bother at all on my old htc legend. But I have a htc 8x now and I am on my chat, and and typing my message but cannot find anywhere to attach a photo to it. Is there anywhere? have tried several facebook apps but cant find it on any of them, so uninstalled them. I still have the microsoft one though. Can anybody tell me how to chat a picture. Want to send a picture of my wedding shoes to my mums chat and don't want to post it on facebook. Many thanks in advance for any information you are able to give me.

I tried to send a picture to a friend I was chatting with through the chat in messages but its not available unless its to there number not fb chat �� I hope it gets updated.

me too, can't even see pictures that are sent to me. Is just blank after their name. Gutted as old htc did it no bother at all, and could see received and enlarge them. Thank you for replying
