Not only is it easier, but gives the power button a bit more life if you aren't always pushing it.

Honestly I don't think that we will get the double tap because not once that HTC came out with a custom option, exclusive app or tweaks for our phones. They simply brought the phone out and that's it!!!!

You do realize that this would lead to ridiculous battery drain, right? TouchWake means that the screen is always active, waiting for you to touch it. Screen always active=always doing something=battery drain.

The BlackBerry z10 wakes up by sliding a finger on the screen. I don't think it materially affects battery life or Nokia and BlackBerry wouldn't be doing it.

This would be great to have.

I miss how I unlocked my old LG Optimus 7 by pressing the Windows key.

I guess double tapping the screen or a long press on the Windows key could be great to have.

Hey all its sad to say but Nokia is one of the only windows phone company to keep on adding and updating there apps software ECT after the amber software update alot of new and cool features showed up so my suggestion is to do a hardware upgrade to a Lumia any Lumia is good I have the 900 and 920 soon to come the 1020 previously I had the HTC surround awesome starter phone but Nokia is the windows phone power house and always will be

It's high time HTC should do something about their Windows Phone line. Wish we could do something about it.

Just let me be optimistic:) I intend to use my 8x for a longer period, so I hope HTC will endow it with extra features.

Yes, I know... day dreams...
