Beats Audio/Hearing Aids Updates?

Just noticed that I had updates for each of these and wondered if anyone has seen what difference the updates make?

I still have to plug, then unplug and plug headphones in again in order for beats to work properly...

What in the hell did the Beats update do? It sure as hell didn't fix the bug that requires a workaround just to get it to work. After all this time they finally update it and they DON'T fix the biggest issue with it? No wonder HTC is going out of business...

Same here, specially with MetroTube.

never had an issue but i updated anyway.. still getting the hang of this phone

Works for music files, but with video (metrotube, youtube app from ms, vevo, video in phone memory) it's even worse. Now i have to unplug and plug in again every time i choose another video. Anoying as hell.

Had that before the update welcome to my world, havent tested any music/metrotube app after update... well update later.

out the blue question, what's your hardware revision number? Mine is 003. there seems to be a difference in CPU chips. mine is a 8260a , while others are 8260. From qualcomms website 8260a is s4 and 8260 is s3. maybe this could be related?

I've got the same you do. Never had a problem with this or any 8x. I didn't do the Beats update this time around though. Humongous difference on and off

Mine is also 003 as well, and CPU chip 8260a just like yours

After todays update for 8x, so far as I can see and hear, I have no more issues with Beats!
