Yep, I'm on EE and got my 8X GDR2 at the same time as the news came out of other 8X handsets having their updates.

I have an unbranded phone with an EE sim in it. It's running ok for me, having no lock up issues (well, yet).

Since my phone is having a "vibration/black screen- flash HTC logo only action" since early morning of July 22,2013 I have NO idea if I received the update. I confess the vibration sound is annoying and this is the second time it has done this. I have owned the phone since May and I am so frustrated with it and T-mobile. I like windows 8, however, on the phone it is so limiting. Sure hope you have success acquiring the update- soon!
