My primary camera is not working!!!!!

How old is the phone? Did it only happen after you updated the firmware/software?

Mine has started doing this too, just over the last week or so. I get the black screen and then it automatically goes back to the start screen. Sometimes instead of the black screen, the "selfie camera" is on and it's upside down. At first I thought it was because I was outside and the phone was cold, but it kept doing it later on until I shut it off. It's done it several times since then...I always need to power off to get it working again, sometimes 2 or 3 times.

I've had this phone since Dec 2012. I have not updated anything.

Sounds like more of a hardware issue then :/
