Preview for developers app

Hello guys,

Just installed the Preview for Developers app from the Store.After that , I went to updates , and found 1 new update.My question is if someone knows what contains that update.I have to mention that I own HTC 8X , with the GDR3 update .Will this new update change my phone OS with something ? Or will install GDR3 Dev Preview ? I`m so sorry if my question seems stupid to you , but I`m kinda noobie in this stuff.

Thanks for your answer.and another question,for me as a consumer,is this different than the consumer preview?i know this is for devs but i want 8.1 sooner.

I'm not a dev but my phone is under developer account for the same reason to get wp8.1 faster

No idea what update you got. I have the 8x dev unlocked that previously had the official gdr3 update installed and I've had no update since dev unlocking my phone.
