Strange problem while calling.

I'm having this annoying issue recently, my phone is HTC 8X international edition, hardware version 2.0
now when I call someone .. They can't hear me at all while I can hear them clearly. And when I receive any phone call .. Its all normal, we can hear each other.
Anyone else having this problem? And what's are the suggested solutions?

You don't have your mute button on do you?

I have seen this before when using the headphone jack. When you unplug headphones or a headset from the phone, it should recognize that it is no longer plugged in, and should use the phone speaker (vs. the mic on a headset). However, sometimes that doesn't happen, so you can try a few things:

1) Plug and unplug headphones into the jack several times.
2) Take a small piece of foil and "short" the connection in the jack a couple times
3) Restart your phone

Just brainstorming.

My mute is not ON
I did restart my phone several times, and the problem is persisted even when I used the earphones to make phone calls... Maybe I'll do a factory reset and see how will it go.
