Htc 8x 3g doesn't work

I have a 8x too. I am very happy with it. But lately when i bought a offert from my vodafone operator to use 3g It didnt worked. I have gone to setting-cellular-and turned data connection on for many times :\ Please help! What do i do?

Let me get this straight, you have a Vodafone-branded HTC 8X and are using it on Vodafone's network?

If not it may not have the right hardware on board to take advantage of everything.

. No no im not using any branded phone. My network is from vodafone

Same for me, different operator. It's so frustrating that I now have my phone always on 2G to be able to get notifications.

BTW, I got a SIM from a different operator and 3G does work. If 3G doesn't work, put your phone on Airplane mode momentarily then back to normal. It should work, but not for long from my experience.

I have done that serveral times and nothing happened. I mean like it should show a "3g" sign up on your phone , right? But nothing shows up for me

Firstly, in my experience 3G connection on Windows Phones is very bad (definitely with Whatsapp at least) . Its not consistent. My phone (HTC 8X) would always display the "3G or H+" icon but i dont get notifications on time. It works well on WIFI.

For the above problem, where 3G icon doesn't appear, i believe you must check if 3G is actually enabled on your location. Also, Call vodafone customer care and confirm if your 3G is activated and check if your cellular setting is not set to 2G.

hi bro i have a cell htc 8x usa branded. now i am in pakistan. its just working on 2g or 4g even not showing the 3g options. here mostly 3 g is operating. kindly get me some help to do this 3 g. i will be waiting ur reply bro
