While attempting to take a picture over my sink I dropped my phone in a cup of water. It was in the water for less than a second and I quickly attempted to dry everything.
My 8x went into a boot loop and I couldn't get it to stop so I just barrier the phone in rice and let the batteries drain. After about 8 hours in the rice I charged the phone and it booted up but the bottom three buttons (Home, back and search) do not work. When I open an app I can't get back to the home screen because the buttons don't work. I tried to get Cortana to take me back to my home screen but I couldn't get it to work either.
Back in the rice and I'll see what its like tomorrow.
