Why doesn't my Windows phone recovery tool find a software package?

Windows phone recovery tool doesnt find software package

Hello,

I try to restore software in my HTC 8X. But when I run Windows Phone Recovery Tool, plug in my phone and reboot it in boot-loader mode I get this message:
"Software Package Not found on server".

What should I do to fix this?

I fear you have to wait till the Windows Phone Recovery Tool supportts the HTC 8x.

"Use the Windows Phone Recovery Tool for the HTC One and all Lumia phones running Windows Phone 8 or newer. For all other Nokia branded phones use the Lumia Software Recovery Tool."

my htc 8x cannot recover after seeing a sad smiley blue thing on the screen .. i have done all that is expected but windows recovery tool seem not to recover the phone for me,, am even crying
