Battery killed by restart?

I've noted that (possibly since switching to Mango - I'm not sure) my battery will frequently die after a restart. I'll have 30%+ battery and restart the phone for one reason or another and it'll immediately say critical battery level and die on me.
Really annoying.

Anyone else having this issue?

It happened to me once but I was using multiple batteries that day so I thought it might have been something wrong with the battery. I have used the battery a couple of times sense with no issue. Sorry that doesn't help but at least your not alone. I would suggest a new battery if it continues.

Guess the question is, what do you need to restart your phone? Maybe the battery percentage is not up to date when you restart, for some reason related to your required restarts. I usually restart phone every 2-3 weeks (or longer), not because I have to. Just because.

Sometimes I can't send MMS until I restart, so every couple days or so, when I need to send one, I'll restart my phone.
