i've found one flaw so far, Messenger (WLM) doesn't work like this it seems. This may be a minor deal for those of you who just use SMS all the time anyways, it is a deal breaker for me though.

So in conclusion what I've found is the Tracefone setting in Connection Setup works great for all internet services by MMS. The Consumer Cellular profile works great for MMS and web browsing, but not services like WLM and FB Chat.

So HTC still needs to provide us with a Straight Talk profile that essentially blends the two profiles. Please see my other thread about contacting them and letting this be known.

Is Messenger just an IM service? I don't use that or Facebook, so maybe these new settings will work for me...

Just so I understand, if I try these new settings out, I will still get web, texts and now multimedia texts?

Well, the connection setup will not let me change from AT&T. Selecting Manual Setup only frees up the location spot, AT&T is still grayed out.

My phone is not unlocked as I am using a Straight Talk AT&T sim. Mabye this is why? Bummer.
