Volume Down Key Not Working

I have an HTC Trophy and the volume down key is not working. I have tried a hard reset and the OS is updated to Mango. No case is on the phone either. Any other suggestions on how to possibly fix this? Thanks.

If a hard reset didn't fix it, I don't know what else to try. Pull the battery for a couple of minutes.

I had this happen to my titan last night. I did a soft reset and lost my entire live id presence, my hotmail tile and app and the the ability to set it back up, my Zune artist wallpaper, my wallpaper was restored to default snd many apps act like its the first time they've been used (asking to authorize location, etc), and mms won't work. But i got my volume issue resolved lol

Tried hard reset, soft reset, pulling the battery out and nothing works. Looks like a hardware failure at this time...

Does anyone know of a way to change the volume using software instead of the hardware buttons? Maybe an app? The app Media Volume Settings does not work.

If it's under warranty I would return it for a new one.

Not so easy in my country so that trouble also happen to HTC, i tought only happen to lumia WP 8 series
