Internet Sharing Problem

Just a FYI that if you are planning to switch to a Verizon shared plan to use the Trophy as a mobile hotspot, you may want to wait. I did switch but if I try to go online, I just get a message saying that the phone is not set up for internet sharing, and then a second message telling me I need to add a $20 data sharing plan. Verizon customer service confirmed that they have received multiple complaints today all reporting the same problem, and that the issue has been elevated to a high priority. They also promised a response in 24 to 48 hours. Actually I also have a problem if I simply turn the feature on. Email on the phone will immediate crash with a message that there is a certificate error. As soon as I turn off internet sharing the email starts working again.

Thanks! This worked for me too. Was frustrated that it wasn't working and told yesterday that they are working on a resolution. I'm on the Share Everything plan and it was still giving me the "Subscribe to hotspot" message.

Surprised this has not been fixed by Verizon yet.
